All of us who care about the open web need to push back against misguided media narratives about the "death" or "demise" of any sort of open technology. This article about RSS for instance made me cringe: motherboard.vice.com/en_us/art

RSS is alive and well—I and countless others rely on it extensively for news reading, and it's literally how podcasting works at all! Sure, it's true not a lot of "regular" people know about RSS. Not a lot of people know about Javascript either. So what?!
